This idea is why Nenuca Syquia founded Better Organizations by Design in 2019. As a workplace innovation lead at a major enterprise company, she grew frustrated at how often leaders blamed people for failing to execute on a strategy when the system they worked within was designed to work against them.

She built BOxD to help leaders avoid the mistake of chasing false solutions or only treating symptoms on the surface. And to be the organizational consultancy she wished she could have hired in the past, one that is driven by its values and motivated to build up the capacity of its clients instead of making them dependent on endless billable hours. As she puts it: we want you to eventually break up with us!

Most other consultancies are only one half of the whole. Coaches work on the people. Consultants work on the org chart. Each gives you half a solution while the other half slowly undoes it (not intentionally, because not enough intention was given). BOxD solves both problems together because they were never separate in the first place.
